Unser 10. vizthink meetup in Berlin war ein sehr besonderes:
Es ging diesmal neben dem Netzwerken und Austausch nicht so sehr um konkrete Fertigkeiten beim Visualisieren wie Schrift oder Zuhören, sondern um ein Hinterfragen der Rolle von Visualisierungen im Kontext von Organisationen.

Ist das alles nur ein nettes Add-on und/oder können wir auch eine ernsthafte, professionelle Rolle bei der Gestaltung von Organisationen einnehmen? Ist Graphic Recording immer das Mittel der Wahl oder braucht es manchmal andere visuelle Tools?
Genau zu diesem Thema hat Mathias Weitbrecht sein neues Buch „Co-Create! Das Visualisierungs-Buch“ geschrieben. Mit Bildern, Textauszügen und kleinen Aufgaben führte der Mitgründer von visualfacilitators uns durch den Abend. Es waren viele spannende Leute anwesend, und es wurde auch immer wieder viel hinterfragt und konstruktiv diskutiert. Ein kleiner aber sehr feiner Abend für die ca. 26 Teilnehmer_innen. Our 10th vizthink meetup in Berlin was a very special one:

This evening event was – apart from networking and exchange, of course – not so much about a particular skill of visual thinking but about questioning the role of the visualizer in the context of organizations. Is this all just a nice add-on and/or can we take up a serious, professional role when creating organizations? Is Graphic Recording always the medium of choice, or does it sometimes need other visual tools? This is exactly what Mathias Weibrecht wrote about in his new book „Co-Create! Das Visualisierungs-Buch“. With images, short readings and fun exercises Mathias, who also co-founded visualfacilitators, guided us through the evening. Many interesting people participated, questioned and constructively debated through this night with approx. 26 people. Thank you for coming!
